The Midnight Studio Plot

The Midnight Studio

Seo Ki Joo is a photographer who owns a small photo studio. It’s a special place only for ghosts. He takes pictures of the ghosts who visit his store. Han Bom is a lawyer who is very passionate about her job and doesn’t like unfairness. Somehow, she ends up working with Ki Joo’s photo studio. The studio has two employees: Assistant Manager Go, who brings in ghost customers, and Baek Nam Gu, who does small tasks in the store.

Joo Won, who was in last year’s popular show “Stealer: The Treasure Keeper,” is back with a new project called “The Midnight Studio.” In this supernatural thriller, Joo Won plays Seo Ki Joo, a photographer who comes from a family with a cursed camera. People in his family can’t live past 35 years old and die in mysterious ways because of the curse. Even though Ki Joo only has 105 days left until his 35th birthday, he still helps the souls who come to his studio. You can understand their feelings just like Ki Joo does. The first few episodes were really interesting; let’s talk about them!

Main Leads

Seo Ki Joo (played by Joo Won) comes from a family with a curse. They have to take pictures of dead people with a special camera, and they never live past 35 years old. Han Bom (played by Kwon Na Ra) is a lawyer who’s really into fairness. She got fired from her job and is now jobless, living in a rooftop apartment her grandmother used to pay for until she got kicked out. Ki Joo and Han Bom meet when they end up living in the same apartment. Han Bom has some magical powers that let her go into Ki Joo’s photo studio, and ghosts don’t like being around her.

The Midnight Studio

Right now, Ki Joo and Han Bom don’t exactly get along. Han Bom wants to make a deal with Ki Joo to keep using the apartment, but he’s not too excited about her tricky ways. However, he’s interested in her because of her ability to enter the photo studio. They’re both curious about each other but also a bit cautious.

Is it worth watching?

Yes, definitely! I can’t wait to find out why Han Bom has these special powers.

Seo Ki Joo has come to terms with his fate, just like his uncle who disappeared. He knows something bad is going to happen to him on his 35th birthday. So, Han Bom’s sudden appearance and her mysterious powers might just help protect him from whatever disaster is coming. Ki Joo needs someone to protect him from the ghosts who want to harm him for the camera, while Han Bom needs a place to stay. I think they’ll team up and help each other out. I’m really excited to see what happens in the next episodes and hope the show keeps up the same pace.
